Leigh Kankewitt, MC, RCC is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and therapeutic yoga practitioner with over twenty-five years of experience supporting healing through mind, body, and heart. She specializes in grief and loss, helping individuals navigate bereavement, relationship loss, life transitions, and other forms of profound change with compassion and person-centered care.
Drawing on somatic therapy, mindfulness, and therapeutic yoga, Leigh recognizes that grief is not only experienced emotionally but also carried within the body. Her gentle, body-based approach helps clients regulate the nervous system, reconnect with themselves, and create space for renewed meaning. Through one-on-one counselling, and groups incorporating yoga and nature-based activities, she offers a safe and supportive environment where people can honour and process grief, loss, and difficult life transitions.

What Healing Means to Me
Healing means opening the heart and connecting to the love inside which is connected to source and all that is so that we may project and carry that love out into the world and help others. As we heal, we are not healed alone.
